sweater weather

this week has especially been long to me
so i was especially looking forwards to this weekend :) (minus having to study and catch up on readings..)
my weekend officially started friday after 5pm. i was excused to leave a little bit earlier from my internship as i had an appointment at my health center for oh surprise my terrible breathing problems :( particularly became serious after i couldn't help but to spill some tears in front of the doctor.. i don't know if this scared her but she requested that i come in again earlier this upcoming week. blood sample taken. also, i received an inhaler which isn't really an inhaler, more like a breathing mechanism to ingest fine powder (is this safe? should i be concerned?)
saturday morning i woke up early to head to the gym.. this was a painful endeavor. everytime i would go on the elliptical or anything for that matter, in only a few minutes, my head would start spinning, i would be short of breath and be induced to collapse in seconds.. this scared me. but then smart friend informs me that i should not be here at the gym, working out, if i had so previously the day before had blood taken out of my body. i told her that the doctor did not tell me this important and necessary news.. she just looked at me like i had a second head growing out of my neck :( oh, okay...
it was a beautiful saturday and i did not want to waste it! the weather was especially crisp and nice, my favorite season is officially here!! :D we took the 6 train and headed up to 86th street making our way towards the reopened National Academy Museum where we gazed and pondered at portraits and paintings. the main exhibition was based on artist Will Barnett. i really like his work, disliked some but all in all, everything was really interesting to look at. plus, there was an actual artist in the american collection painting away- this was the best part in my opinion. he was so talented and lovely to look at while he painted away and away...

needless to say, i have exciting news! bought tickets to the PRISCILLA AHN concert on october 2 in brooklyn :) so excited since i only love her music and mellow voice and the thought of hearing her live makes me happy :)

finally, after grabbing some latte's and yummy pastries, we then went to the library for our usual task of tackling readings and homework and now night time is here. going to finish up reading while listening to some p. ahn :)

:)
